Cantaloupe-Size Eggs from 500-Pound Birds Had Been Eaten by Ancient Humans

In Australia, we may realize that the burnt eggshell wreckages of an antique gigantic bird have facilitated scientists to solve a 50,000-year-old whodunit. These nonflying birds lived through much of the continent earlier humans reached in Australia almost 50,000 years ago. Yet, they strangely went extinct soon thereafter and currently, indication of human-scorched eggshells recommends that the new arrivals were cooking up the eggs for supper; possible placing a large dent in the birds’ reproductive success, based on a new study. In other words, the study authors stated that the finding supports the idea that ancient people backed to the bird’s eventual demise.
