Look! How Galápagos Tortoises Do It

Via stimulated Charles Darwin to articulate his theory of natural selection, the giant tortoises of the Galápagos Islands have been recognized as infamous for being one of the animals. In spite of their fame, it may come as a surprise for the Galápagos tortoises that have long been a bit of a mystery to scientists and at least once it approaches to their sexual and social behaviors. James Gibbs, a conservation biologist at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, New York, stated “One of the great misconceptions of iconic organisms is that we know much about them” and “But tortoise social behavior is barely known, and we’re just starting to figure all this out.” Please help view these giant tortoises as your pleasure and surprising. More info:  iencelivesc
